Western Washington

While you're on a Guided fishing trip with Bob, on the rivers or lakes, you, or your family and friends can come and enjoy what other spectacular attractions our fishing locations have to offer, whether you're here in the summer, spring, fall or winter. Lewis County, my most central location, is cradled by three of the most recognized Cascade, volcanoes; Mount St. Helens, having erupted in 1980, Mount Rainier, and Mount Adams. Lewis County overflows with natural beauty and historic attractions. Lewis County was named in honor of Meriwether Lewis of the Lewis and Clark Expedition and created in 1845 as Washington's first county.

Winter recreation is very popular, with hundreds of miles of trails for cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or sledding in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.The White Pass Ski Resort area with its ski lifts, lodging, and great family skiing and snowboard programs amidst an abundant snowfall, beautiful setting, and variety of terrain for all abilities.

For you golfers we have the Newaukum Valley Golf Course with its 27 hole public golf facility for all levels of golfers, with their new driving range and practice area. The newest addition in our area is The Great Wolf Lodge and Water Park the water park is for guests only.

Eastern Washington

When your out fishing with Guidelines on one of the 3 most beautiful lakes of your choice, make sure you go see the Grand Coulee Dam an engineering wonder, being one of the countries largest hydroelectric projects and one of the largest concrete structures in the world. There are a total of 11 dams built on the river, and the Grand Coulee Dam is the keystone of the Columbia River system Dams. Being completed in 1941 the waters of the mighty Columbia River backfilled behind this enormous structure, creating the 151 mile long Lake Roosevelt, which makes for great summer time fishing.

The month of May brings the Sunbanks Blues Festival and June starts the nightly Laser Light Show on the walls of the Grand Coulee Dam. Within minutes of the dam is Banks Lake which has an 18 hole Public Golf course, Banks Lake Golf Club (509)633-0163.
